Health through knowledge, train the mind to train the body.
Why the scale lies and the whole concept of ‘weight’ is deceiving.
Lower weight is not the goal! Everyone needs to see this …muscle weighs more then fat and LOOKS 10 times better. This is why we shouldn’t obsess if our weight stays the same/fluctuates/increases for a bit when we are training hard. personally i don’t even pay attention to the scale much anymore. it can consume you.
running.. even in the rain… sounds so good right now. if only.
if you run fast enough, the fat can’t keep up

Before I started losing weight, & a few weeks later.
(Reblogging myself so that this goes into my photos page)
Workouts are supposed to be hard. They’re supposed to make you tired. If you don’t work for it, you will not get results. The best athletes in the world don’t quit when they’re tired. If you want to be just as good, neither should you. This is to say, however, that you should also make realistic goals. Doing hundreds or thousands of reps is not a reasonable thing to do; those habits are just plain unhealthy. If you need help with your routine, there are many resources open to you with suggestions.
Inspiration for the beginning of 2012.
